That's the cutting mat needed when somebody does a 1/32 B-36 Peacemaker

A mat of a uniform color that contrasts strongly with grey plastic, and maybe with magnetic properties for same to draw them all into a circle in the middle. And then have a small one on the bench. A fellow can dream.

Now, that is the idea of the millennium, perhaps of all time, yes, best idea ever!

Making the mat magnetic and adding some sort of magnetic elements to the plastic mix! Genius. You could also get one of those big fishing magnets!

I have been toying with the idea of modifying a shop apron to have a pocket that might catch some jumpers, since most seem to fall between my belly and table lately. Won't help with those that launch over my shoulder, but I am working on that.

If those with grandchildren are wondering, yes the idea came from those kid bibs that have the food catcher pocket along the bottom of it.

I had heard of this but never seen it. Velcro on the underside of the bench and on the apron. That seems helpful :hmm:

Maybe flypaper on the walls closest to the workbench to catch those tiny parts launched by tweezers… 🤨
