A week age, last Tuesday evening, my wife had a full on seizure. Fortunately, she was on the couch at the time. EMS was called and from the time it started until she started coming around in rhe ambulance was lifetime. The most helpless and frightened I’ve ever been. Period. More alert by the time we made it to the hospital, and she continued to improve.
CT, MRI and EEG were clear — no, bleeds, tumors, stokes, etc. what it was, was a magnesium deficiency. That has been addressed and she is doing much better. She was discharged from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility on Friday. So, we are here for at least two weeks or more. Maybe all of May…don’t know. But, things are exhausting, chaotic but getting better.

Sorry to hear that Lyle. Happy to hear she's on the mend and they've identified the issue.
Thanks,

Re: My Scarcity
Sorry to hear that, Lyle. My wife had a similar experience some years ago, that was the result of a potassium deficiency. She has had no re-occurrences but takes a supplement for that.
Re: My Scarcity
You mentioned this the other day Lyle, I'm very glad to hear she's on the mend. Best wishes to you both and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Thanks, John. Good to hear she gas recovered. Just had lunch with her and left her up at the PT room.

Wow... scary but glad she's on the mend. Family comes first. The bench will be here when you're ready to return.

Re: My Scarcity
What a frightening experience indeed! I’m glad to hear that she is in the mend and will be ok. Who knew that a magnesium deficiency could case such things?! At least that can be easily rectified by diet and/or supplements.
