Cool build. Beeing a bit of an armor novice I have a question. Those racks for the jerry cans and satchels, are those a field modification? Thank you gentlemen! Thanks guys!
Thomas that's done using a small piece of sponge held in forceps. I used acrylic paint so subsequent weathering won't erase the effect.

The first place was on the engine deck.
After El Alamein the Germans were on the run and that deck area became the place for stowage as the war became more mobile.
Next best place was atop the turret.
