Re: Matchbox 1/72 Saab J29 F Tunnan by speedgraflex
I believe you did, Marius! Something I need to show you is the interior configuration with the cockpit piece. It appears that the cockpit slab blocks where the turbofan? would be placed. I found a rudimentary image from MIT that explains how a comparable system works (I think) but I’d rather open t...

Marius! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I need as many ideas as possible. If you don't want to build the engine blades itself you might work with a photo print. Carlos's image is a good reference. Print the blades on a paper and stick it to a plastic sheet. I guess it will do the job once glue...

Sharp work, Kari. Always a pleasure to see such neat and precise fitting overcome the challenges of a short run kit.

Congratulations on your latest build, John. I particularly like the way you handled the Flory wash. That made a huge difference overall.

Thank you both very much, Mike and Carlos. Carlos, I can’t believe you found that angle. I thought I’d visited every online walk-through, flight show album and museum feature online. Well, the egg’s on me. Where was this? Or more important, how did you search for this? I’ve been adding styrene stri...

I need help from those who understand jet engines. I assume that I may need to add a bit of an interior tube leading to the turbojet fan… yay or nay? (Part 22 on the Tarangus instruction page). https://i.postimg.cc/0yrBdS2z/35935870-B497-4546-B830-D60BAB719881.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Jzt2cX4D/66CB...

:shoutout: Looking great Bruce! Putting the brass tubing in the gun ports is a great idea! No thank you. In a very real way, I am inspired by seeing the work being done by you and others here who are sharing their thoughts and ideas. Yes, adding pitot and gun barrels is common in advanced modeling,...
