Re: 1/48 Airfix P-40B

Stik, Tamiya would be my primary pick for a 1/32 Hawk 75/P-36. You know what they've been doing lately in that arena! Just stunning kits! But that's probably just wishful thinking lol. Portman, I can almost guarantee you'll love this kit. Its a must have! Highly recommended! Thomas, what's in the bi...

Re: 1/48 Airfix P-40B

Yeah, the hits just keep coming from Airfix. I'm a huge fan these days. I've even been collecting the older ones. When I was young I was advised that Airfix kits were horrible, but I would build Matchbox kits and those IMHO were actually worse in a lot of ways lol. I'm still holding out for a new to...

1/48 Airfix P-40B

I've been working on this one since December of last year. I usually don't make very much progress with each session, but I'm not interested in just pushing this one through to completion. I've really enjoyed this kit so far. :) A little more sanding to flush out the seams and a few dust particles a...

Re: 1/72 Super Model Reggiane RE 2000 Falco I

Thank you, all. I think it will turn out worthy of my tiny A/C museum. Now the only question is wether I chose the box art scheme or something a little more colorful with camo and a big yellow nose. Well The build stage is out of the way and I've got primer on it. [image]http://www.use.com/images/s_...

1/72 Super Model Reggiane RE 2000 Falco I

Unfortunately a lot has been going on in my life and not much of it has been good so far. But I've managed to carve out a little time here and there in my evenings to at least build something. This isn't a spectacular kit, but it is a a rare and little modeled subject. What attracted it to me is the...

Re: 1/72 Airfix A6M2b Type 0 Model 21 Zero WIP

Nice finish, Steve! :shoutout: A nice trick to get those decals to sink into the panel lines is to run your x-acto through the decal along the lines after they are fully dried. Personally I give the fresh cuts a lick of Liquid Cement to make sure they don't go anywhere and snuggle down into those cr...

Re: 1/72 MPC Curtis's Helldiver (1968 Airfix) WIP

I'm holding on. This will pass.... again. but in the meantime I have things to put into place. which will probably see me having much less time for building my models. But I won't be leaving my hobby or my forums. I just have to reorganize priorities for a little while lol.

Thanks Borg, John. I will recover, I always do. I just have to endure this bizarre chain of events.

I'm hanging on! I'm in a full blown Twilight Zone episode but I'm dealing with it in stride.

Just weather the storms, right? (Deep breaths) here I go.

Re: 1/72 MPC Curtis's Helldiver (1968 Airfix) WIP

Well today went well. I just moved into my parents house with only the clothes on my back. Yay!

Best day ever.

Guess that insanity stuff is more relevant than I thought. So... not sure when I'll get my stuff back.
