Thanks Duke! Yeah it's the 1/72 kit. The LHS has a revell repop of this kit been thinking about picking it up but I really don't see me building another one.

This is going to be amazing, the brassin cockpit should be a direct fit with no annoying trimming to it or the kit.

Been working on the base some its a slow job since I'm using gorilla glue it takes a long time to cure and you have to clamp it but when its set it's there for good. I'll be following along for this. The Bandai kits are excellent the side by side of the Bandai vs Fine molds Y-wing the Bandai is the clear winner.

Looking great so far SB, I'm guessing the Academy kit goes together alot better than the old Revell kit does.

Great job this was also my first armor build around 12 years ago.
