That is interesting to know. I recall having to track down the original AM instructions for a couple of things that baffled me on the Academy reboxed version of the TBM. (especially the gun turret installation). I had assumed that the original AM instructions were better, perhaps wrongly! John (Eato...

Tom, for Christmas 2012 my future stepson and daughter-in-law gave me the Academy reissue of Accurate Miniatures TBM-3. I hadn't build a model in probably 20+ yrs. They apparently did their research. Awesome kit. I've read only praise for any of the AM kits, and even the Accurate Miniatures reissues...

Even at this stage, with the prop dry-fitted, looks like she wants to fire up and launch right off the building stand.
