Re: Decal Feedback
Printscale I used this sheet: https://printscale.org/product_449.html Pro's Often cover subjects not seen before Cons: Print quality seemed like it could have been better; however, not really noticeable at normal viewing distance Very thin and difficult to work with -- can easily ruin a decal if you...

Re: Revell's 1/48 P-61 Black Widow
You are doing a good job adapting and overcoming Keyda :shoutout: It should look just fine when it's all done. Stripes look good to me. On a side note: Every time I see a build of this kit, I want to build one again . I remember the P-61 being a very fun build (challenging, but fun). I loved all the...

Re: Revell's 1/48 P-61 Black Widow
I have read similar such tales regarding Tech Mod decals, so I’m a bit leery to try that brand. I actually have a beautiful sheet of Techmod decals for some 1/48 109E's but have not had a chance to use them yet. I have heard of :quotes: The Techmod Trap :quotes: before though. I'll cross my fingers...

Re: Revell's 1/48 P-61 Black Widow
We’re usually our own worst critics. :hmm: I think this is looking really sharp now that you have the markings on. I’m sorry to hear about the Print Scale decals. I have read similar such tales regarding Tech Mod decals, so I’m a bit leery to try that brand. I guess that Print Scale goes on that li...

Re: Monogram B-17G Out of Mothballs
That whole thing looks great! It would pain me though to apply thin cement to that nice clean paint job  when i 1st saw it i though you had the fuse together :hmm: then i was stunned as i scrolled thru the next pics. Going to watch and learn on your build  Thanks Mongoose. Like I sai...

Re: Monogram B-17G Out of Mothballs
Looks awesome inside and out. Tell me your painting/finishing/assembly sequence and how you handle seems on a painted model. I'm not really sure yet; obviously, this is not going to be a contest model. The important thing is to make the fit as good as possible before painting. I may just leave the ...

Monogram B-17G Out of Mothballs
This is what is currently on my bench. The 'in box' photos is the state is has been in for about 11 years (since I packed it up to move to a new home). My idea was to build it like I would when I was a kid .. anyway.. it got forgotten about for quite some time... I finally decided to pull it out and...
