He achieved the ripe old age of 100 years old.

That's a beautiful kit. Had it when it first came out. No idea why I sold it. Must have been in my "I can't build 1/32 kits cuz they take up too much space" phase...

Drum roll please... Got a few new decal sheets... so I had to augment my stash a little.... Got 'a' P-47 kit on that auction site , which actually contained the plastic for two kits :yahoo: save one canopy, which I know if can find in the spare box. I'm Thinking of build Butch and Ozark Queen first...

I totally reworked the spinner. Separated the blades. Glued the spinner together, filled, sanded, scribed, drilled mounting holes for the blades, primed, painted. The Airfix A-7 isn't a bad kit, although lacking in modern detail (the weapons suck) it does have a full intake trunking and the shape looks good. I built one as part of Manny's Airfix Groupie GB back in 2015 - not my best work... And it's one of the few Airfix kits with.... wait for it.... WHEEL W...
