Great job Mike- I've built 3 or 4 iterations of those kits and they were really the top of the class in that scale...when their website was up they had great tutorials online...don't know if if they are available anywhere now but from what I'm seeing you're doing pretty well on your own.

For me it was attending my first AMPS Nationals and seeing all the amazing work there as I was just starting out in armor. I made some great friends who were super helpful, and started judging models which gave me loads of tips on things to avoid and on how to fix mistakes...my skill set really grew...

Enjoying my second week of summer vacation. I've vowed to finish off a couple shelf queens as this is my primary build season. Also working on a burned out T-72 and just enjoying the process of weathering it. And like Tojo, spending time in the pool.

Yeah they have become my least favorite company to build kits from. Not because they are crappy kits though...Some have been quite good kits- their Churchills are some of the best builds around...but it was a journey to get them completed. Gotta take them one bite at a time like you're doing...these...

If you are paid up with your IPMS or AMPS memberships, it's free to join their review teams. Either is around $30 a year for the membership which pays for itself with one kit you receive. I joined the teams shortly after the reviews here ended and have done hundreds. IPMS has much more selection as ...
