Cool! I knew the interior needed something but I didn't know what until I remembered that I had three of those Nova kits in the stash for a number of reasons and this was one of 'em. This interior is so bare that it needed a console to help add that extra "punch" and it fits perfectly in ...

Thanks fellas. I can't remember where Donn was from Bruce but I'll have a look. He was an exceptional auto modeler and is greatly missed. Speaking of interiors, I've managed to start Car #1's interior. We'll be going with black on this one. I started by painting everything in there in flat black, th...

My first edition 190 met the hammer. Oh yeah... I was pissed and frustrated. Did get the newer Eduard version for same aircraft. [/quote] I hear ya Tom. There were a good number of folks who were more than perturbed at Eduard for the problems with that kit. I put a lot of time into studying the prob...

Donn Yost turned me onto that idea around 6-7 years ago. Too bad he's gone now. Guy was a brilliant auto scale modeler and I learned a great deal from him. Got my car body mocked up on the chassis with the aluminum wheels and I'm really diggin' this color. In building the two cars, I just couldn't p...

What a stunner!!
Your take on this small scale bird really takes the cake Martin. I can't get over the bright blue that the Russians used on the undersides of their aircraft. Almost looks like some of their cockpit colors. Very well built and painted bud.

Definitely hear what you're saying in regard to pushing the decals any further Remco and that's a good idea with the wash to make the colors on the decal match the tail.
Coming in on the tail end of this project but it's a good-looking build going on so far.
