Button up anxiety

I've finished the interior of my Catalina, and I've realised something. I have anxiety about closing up the fuselage. Ive made enough mistakes closing up a fuselage over the years that im now hesitant to glue it up without sitting on it for a while. Bombers are worse than fighters, but ironically fi...

Re: This is great

Found this on Reddit. u/Bigglesworth_ It's a difficult one to pin down. There are any number of versions of the story, in print from at least 1942 in William L. Shirer's Berlin Diary: The Journal of a Foreign Correspondent 1934-1941: "X says the Germans recently completed a very large [aerodrom...

Re: Weird question about wood stain.

Thats kind of what i gathered. I was just hoping i could thin it or use it as a wipe on wipe off thing to stain the wood while letting the sculpted plywood show through. All the scraps are up on campus. Its plywood of some description (found chunks in the scraps bin that looked nice enough) and door...

Weird question about wood stain.

I have an art project i'm working on, its about to be displayed in Milner Gardens up in Qualicum Beach. I went and got some good stain to finish it off, and it wasn't until i got home that i realised i had got a solid stain instead of a transparent stain. I really want the wood grain to shine throug...

Re: Italeri 1/72 Lockheed C-130K/ C.1

I've been fortunate. IN all the time I've been building models, I've never trashed a kit. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one Stuart. As for the interior color, either a Dark Ghost or Dark Gull grey would work, unless the RAF repainted the interiors when they got them. USAF aircraft...

This is so cool
If you look at the eggplane bombers the guns all look pretty realistic (some exceptions to the rule) so i think what you had looks good.
Maybe look at the meng eggplane lancaster for the turrent?
