Thanks Nathan!
Yes, I do have the Karaya set for the A-8 / F-8 in my stash but didn`t build it yet.

Re: Eduard BF 110G-2 1/48

Good choice, scorpiomikey!

Eduard revised the kit after release of the C and D versions. Fit of the engine nacelles should be better now.
Have my C-4 in the painting stage atm. Will follow your build and try to give advice when needed.

You'll definitely have fun with it!

Re: Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-5 Eduard 1/48

The CP went together like a dream and I'm happy with the outcome. Colours are Gunze RLM66 in two shades, drybrushing with Vallejo medium grey and a varnish out of Vallejo flat and semi gloss in a ratio of 1/2. http://photoplastics.de/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/BB190A5-15.jpg After that small success...

Re: Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-5 Eduard 1/48

The edges of the shell outlets were thinned out. Due to the dihedral of the wings an improvement is visible. http://photoplastics.de/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/BB190A5-07.jpg Some PE parts found their way into the wheel well. http://photoplastics.de/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/BB190A5-06.jpg The resi...

Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-5 Eduard 1/48

I'm in with a bird out of the family called "Cracticidae" . The plane I'm trying to repicate is the white double chevron of Hauptmann (Captain) Egon Mayer in the spring of 1943. He was Group Commander of the III./JG 2 at that time and his rudder showed 62 kills. http://photoplastics.de/wp-...

Re: Saab J35J Draken, Hasegawa 1/48

You've done new pictures since first rollout, right?
The Draken is one of my favourite modern airplane and you did justice to the great Hasegawa kit. Your airbrush skills are as always exceptional.

Thanks for sharing,
Torben

Re: 1/48 Trumpy MiG-21F-13 "White 2015"

Ah, I see. Have a He 162 here that is planned for a scheme with putty lines. Think I'll go with the Schmincke Aqua Masking Fluid Pens.
Schmincke products are easy to get here in Europe and I'm sure the content is similarly. It will show if the pen is able to apply fine lines, though.

Re: 1/48 Trumpy MiG-21F-13 "White 2015"

Seems to be a solid kit that can compete with the Eduard range of this type.
Did you use liquid mask or chipping fluid? I think I read something about this "frisket" stuff on your blog.

Looking good so far, like a worn cold warrior.

Yesss, I love those last days of the war-machines. So much space for creative acting, and you enjoyed doing this one- that's clearly visible!

The broken leg is the glacé cherry on the cream. Great work!
