Re: 1/35 Tamiya Challenger 2 Desertized Version

Nice inytro to armour, and lovely results. I'm another one who is not a fan of chiping, deffinetly over done. And keep in mind that these things were painted over their green/black scheme and didn't wear the sand for that long. And there is not much to brush up against in the desert to remove the pa...

Re: Hasegawa 1/72nd Typhoon FGR.4 Op Ellamy

I think its been over a month since my last update, but i'm finally able to get some updates posted. The Typhoon got a Flry wash, i didn't want to get it to grubby, just in use. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51740949537_978f51389b_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51742418229_77b659155...

Re: Airfix 1/72nd Victor K.2 Op Black Buck

Finally able to post something on the Victor. It took over a week to get the decals on. There didn't seem to be that many of them compared to some other Airfix kits, but there were a lt of small stencils and some tricky decals. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51742016488_d557a457d1_c.jpg https:/...

Re: Hasegawa 1/72nd Typhoon FGR.4 Op Ellamy

Thanks Carlos. I would guess that if they went up agaisnt an opposition with an air force worthy of note, they would. But the typhoons have only seen action over syria and Libya. Even agaisnt Iraq in 91 and 03 our aircraft carried colourful markings including sharks teeth and nose art.
