Re: F-35B pilot punches out after bad landing
Ok aircraft seems to descend smoothly, once on the ground it starts to pick up then violently pitches forward. Pilot error or mechanical fault? Its possible he was training and panicked so punched out? First solo flight in the F-35? Its easy to look at something from the outside and go Öh he should ...

Re: The New American Ekranoplan???
The design looks like it walked out of the 60's
The company name "General Atomics" sounds like it walked out of the fallout universe.
Just go grab the russian one off its beach. It doesnt look like theyre watching it.

Re: Selling a house is stressful and demoralising
The prices worldwide seem utterly wild. $400k difference in property values because of a few miles of land and an imaginary line in the dirt. Just insane. Had a first no show open home this weekend. Mental health took a blow as i was fighting with my girlfriend at the same time. And then to top it ...

Re: Joe's 1/48 Monogram OS2U Kingfisher
3D printed parts??? Nice ! Right??!! It's the only way I would've started one of these. For years I wished that another manufacturer would've released this aircraft in 1/48 scale but this right here is the next best thing. I'll need some help along the way to keep from stuffing a blown small black ...

Re: Internet Hobby Scammers
My usual first step is go to hannants. If i cant find it there ill do some googling. I'm usually really cautious and wary of any online shops.
If i cant find it through my normal channels and nobody on here knows where, then i go to my LHS and get them to order it in for me.

Re: Selling a house is stressful and demoralising
We are asking $465k which is well below the median in our area. The place in front of ours sold for $680k and its smaller than ours. A place up the road sold just before we listed for $580k. Seeing $135k for a house shocks me a little. The last time i saw a house go for those prices was the mid 90's...

Selling a house is stressful and demoralising
Mine and my sisters house is currently on the market. Its been nearly 2 months now. Its so stressful having to keep it in perfect condition all the time. The little tweaks to make it more appealing that make it so inconvenient. And watching people come through every weekend and say "Its too pri...

Re: Former WnW engineers dropping a Spitfire
Im so happy to see NZ back on the modeling map.
After WnW disolved (there was no reason for it, they were offered govt subsidies to remain operational) i thought that was it for us. But this makes me happy.
