Re: CB's Hasegawa 1/72 P-47D Razorback

Looks like a pretty early Hasegawa kit. Sure is John, probably one of their first recessed panel line jobs. Re: Tamiya Paint Mix for P-47 Cockpit

I get it, but I have enough paint types on my shelf already and don't like mixing brands on a project. Mixing your own can be fun, as long as you mix enough to last a while and record your formula

Tamiya Paint Mix for P-47 Cockpit

A Possible Tamiya Paint Mix for P-47 Cockpit Green. I got to tinkering due to a recent question regarding Tamiya paint call out for their P-47 cockpit and came up with this mix. What do you guys think? It's the color in the top right corner of the index card and is roughly equal parts of XF-5 Green,...

Re: CB's Hasegawa 1/72 P-47D Razorback

Some more progress on Little Demon. I've never done this before, but the fit was almost perfect when gluing only the lower wings to the fuselage 1st , then the tops after the lower's set up. Naturally I took all the other customary steps like trimming away all flash from the mating surfaces. I am al...

Yea, I do that with most 'old mold' p-47 kits,
since the way the cowl attaches is so feeble.
Now the cowl slides on nice and snug.
