Thanks Carlos, Lyle, Clint and John. It won’t be long now before she’s finished. I still need to apply some weathering on the hull. May hit it tomorrow. The boats on hoist needs to be installed before I proceed with the main rigging. The main big guns will be put in place last.

A couple progress tonight...

Canvas covering using White Out then painted Israeli Light Grey. They're already glued to individual catapult pieces in Standby position. Pics forthcoming...

Flag post / flag added to rear crane mast in Battle Ready position. Box cover shows it on rear mast. This kit's mast didn't include it. :bored:

I'm quitting while I'm ahead for the night. Tomorrow will find the catapults installed, touch up paint on scratch built modifications added to the Mogami, minor rust weathering on the hull sides, and both masts installed.

My goal is to finish her by the end of this weekend.

Don't you just hate us ship modelers and our obsession on calling the correct names :nono: Jackstaff, boot top, lanyard, stay, bollard, cleat bla bla bal.

The canvas covers turned out very well.

Most excellent, but you missed a spot just behind Rhe mast.
