Man that's nice! I couldn't even begin to know where I'd build that thing!

Just kidding! She will know when she is back. And I do not expect any trouble, we both accept our hobbies. I am a lucky man!

MBK has done an unboxing video on Youtube. Get a seat, some coffee and snacks, and try to resist this beauty (very hard!)

Lovely large scale Lanc Thomas! That should keep you busy for quite some time… :hmm:

So I e gotten a few new aircraft items in over the past couple of weeks.

First up, some 1/48 Eduard BL.755 CBUs for a future project or two

Image

Then some Yellow Wings white number decals and Verlinden yellow stencil dry transfers, both of which will come in handy

Image

and lastly this Hobbycraft 1/48 Bf-109B, which I had been wanting for quite some time, and I was finally able to score at a decent price

Image

I must like 109s, because this is the third that I’ve picked up in the past year…

Well continuing my Yellow Wings purchases, these two came in the mail. This time some Army Air Corps types

Fun stuff indeed! As far as being older, I keep hearing the lyrics in my head for Pink Floyd’s “Time” regarding that….

I got a bottle of this stuff - came yesterday. It did take a while. I'm thinking they are not a great big company. Sent an email asking about the order at one point and they told me that demand had far exceeded supply and they were producing more. Anyway, it finally got here and I am impressed.

Image

I had removed most of the paint using Easy Off on the rear seat of the '57 Cheby, but sprayed this stuff on what was left. Almost immediately, it started working.

Image

Then the "big bird" - sprayed one side, top side only at this point. In about 15-30 seconds it started removing the Alclad. I've sprayed another couple of coats and now it is sitting for 15-30 minutes. If I can keep my hands off of it. I seems to work very quickly.

Image

If you need a bit of scrubbing, they recommend using 0000 steel wool that has been wet down with the solution.
