Stuart, this is the late model Zero, so it’ll be in the production scheme 1943 on Green over Light Gray.

Thanks Stuart. When finished this one will be pretty “Plain Jane”, but it is something of a historically significant particular aircraft.

My left index finger took a direct hit with a 22 ounce framing hammer yesterday, but today some friends and I made it look like progress is being made.

Thankfully it cleared up as it dried.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I did that kit. A note for you to be aware of.... Center belly tank is too big and visually, it doesn’t give the nose gear door enough room to properly open and close visually. Look at my thread in the Jets Group Build section...
