Re: Latest Acquisitions:
Nice! I’ve got the same exact kit in my stash partially started. Haven’t gotten back to,it in a long time. If my memory is correct, I may have to strip the paint off and start over. I don’t know....

Re: Latest Acquisitions:
Well, I found another of those rare good price deals on eBay with this one. About $10 plus standard priority mail shipping. It’s an Italeri rebox of the old ESCI T-55 kit, plus it includes the turret top dome armored fan cover to make a T-54/Type-59 tank. For that price, I’m not complaining.
Now I just need to decide on a paint & marking scheme. Right now it’s a toss up between Syrian in 1973 or Soviet in 1968. Decisions, decisions…

No pics but stopped at Hobby Lobby and picked up Tamiya Weathering sets A, B, and C. Each priced at $11.99 but got them each 40% off. Not bad for $27 and change. I’ll definitely get uses out of them.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.

That cutter looks pretty high quality. Very cool!

Nice! Big fan of the Merkava - one of the few armor pieces I've built.
Also a big fan of the Bo-105 chopper. Did the German military version ages ago (PAH). I picked up this 1981 still in shrink wrap rescue version for pretty cheap
Original price tag shows 6.49

It will be interesting to see how the Bolkow builds. It's never really hit my button to get one, mores the favor as I have such little willpower.

Re: Latest Acquisitions:
Steve, that's a nicer looking foam cutter than mine. I made a bow out of 1/2 inch conduit, stretched some .025 safety wire across it, and hooked it up to a battery charger. Darn if it didn't work, and yes I put insulators at each end of the wire. I was a lot shmarter then, 30 years ago.
