Well, my choice i guess.

I wanted to download the picture galleries that I've put up there. There is even a button! I was impressed. . . until I clicked it. It takes you to the "sign up now and pay us money" page. Yep, you can download a single picture at a time for free. To download the galleries, you must pay.

I paid for one month, 11.95. The interesting part was the PayPal reciept did not list Postimg. It showed:

You sent a payment of $11.95 USD to Maria Galeano (malizsaguier@icloud.com)

Oh well. It works anyway.

And why did you want to download your gallery?

At least they have t gone down the Photobucket path... yet.... I’m not going to another free image host site if that happens, and I’m not paying... I’ll be done with sites that can’t host images.

Ah! I’ve been uploading my completed build photos to my iCloud account... that is the ones that I was able to save from Photobucket after their extortion scheme kicked in and that I had the time to download... plus any new completions over the past few years.

To be honest, Postimage is a service I'd pay for if push came to shove - it works well, a lot better than bloody photobucket anyway, and overall seems pretty stable. $4 a month seems pretty reasonable.

Well, I'm not trying to poach anyone from here, but if push comes to shove and you truly need access to a free gallery, then Modeler's Alliance has one that is accessible to all members. That is where I host my pics and link to here from there. I even have my own albums there too. It is a nice Forums; probably the closest to here as any place can be; but I still don't want to lose anyone here to them.
