Dude!! Sorry to hear that you're having to move that quickly. I mean....it's a good thing in ways though. Hope the move goes smoothly my friend.

Well we're actually ahead of the game as far as packing really. Got a week before we get the keys and then four days after that the movers come. Most of the house is already packed. Still have a lot to pack in the model room.

This is just sad. The stash and bench are all packed up.

Mike,

I know it hurts to look at empty closets, but my thoughts are on a new creative space for you both. I am looking forward to seeing new models and paintings! My thoughts and prayers are with you!!!

I hope your new area will be even better
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

15 minutes away is a little less stressful, you have more control over your completed builds.I remember I had a carpeted mini van and I just laid out stuff on the floor and drove carefully. Its the interstate moves that are more challenging.Best wishes on your new place.
I'm set for life,no more moves for me.

Yes, short hop moves are certainly easier to move the stash. I used cardboard drink pallets to move my stuff… just put them in the cargo area of our SUVs of those times and all went easy. Just took multiple trips.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. Laying a blanket down in the back of my truck and putting the completed models on it for the short trip to the new house.
