One of my Daughters drawings...

Post by Stuart »

You'll have to excuse me this 'proud Dad' post - but as it's aircraft related, sort of, I thought I might share a drawing my daughter finished this evening.

Blaze Ranger from Pixar's Planes 2.

And for size (against a pencil)

She also did a couple of cars for my son (from Cars 2).

These are all mixed media. It's kind of a departure for her but she wanted to try something different as a challenge. Cars and aircraft are not easy things to draw, so for a first attempt I'm really impressed.

This is the kind of thing she normally draws - characters based on a 80s/90s series of computer games - I forget which.

Cheers!

Great stuff! Quite talented.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Your daughter indeed does have some talent there! How old is she when she drew these?

Thanks Carlos - she's 17, although I think she was 16 when she did the bottom two.

That is some nice work!
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Yep, some talent there. I can't draw a straight line with a ruler.
