Yep, Taxidia Taxus, American Badger...he was a little bit ticked off. I think I scared him as much as he scared me. Not as easy to step on or poison as the scorpion Stik had.

The biggest issue we're having in these parts is the pythons. A 15 footer was just caught about 3 miles from my house

Bollocks to that, I sodding well hate snakes and bloody scorpions!

I'd rather live in an area with large predators like bears, big cats and wolves than those bastards :whiteflag: at least you can see them coming!

Oh you are referring to the critter? In all honesty, I haven’t seen too many live here. Quite a few dead ones due to our pest control measures. They are primarily nocturnal hunters unless you disturb their daytime hide sites, so that was quite a surprise to see this one out in the open after sunrise.
