Milliput question
Milliput question
Okay, I know that Milliput is water clean up. Can it be "thinned" by working in a drop or two of water? Not to a liquid state, but more putty-like.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Re: Milliput question
Just the tiniest bit of water rubbed in makes it much more workable.
Re: Milliput question
Yes it works best for me with a drop or two of water

Yeah would be a lot cheaper to just use sand.LyleW wrote:That would take a lot to fill a sandbag!
Seriously for a second, I seen a guy using it on reddit to make sandbags

Re: Milliput question
Yeah, that’s an old school method for making sandbags using an epoxy putty or something similar. Shepherd Paine described it in one of the brochures that used to come in the Monogram 1/32 armor kits. Basically you make a roll of the putty, flatten it out from the circular roll, cut off appropriately scale sandbag sized lengths, lightly press them into a piece of fabric for some texture, then place them on the vehicle draping them to conform and let the putty sandbags harden.
