D Day
I wanted to remind all our members of the great importance of this day. It truly marks a turning point in World War Two and therefore, in history. Today, we all owe everything we hold dear, enjoy doing, and well, just the freedom we have to those brave men and women who fought that war, and especially on this hallowed day all those years ago. Now, they are old and frail, bent by age and time but they were young and strong and they saved us all once upon a time. Thank you.

March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Re: D Day
Gary, your sentiments regarding the importance of the day in history, and of course the great sacrifice of the brave men and woman cannot be understated, but for discussion sake,I would say that the war truly turned at Alemein and Stalingrad after those defeats,it was understood that Germany could no longer win the war as Midway doomed the Japanese.
Any thoughts
