Im paying $11.15NZD a gallon. Works out around $7USD. And thats the cheap stuff. My car takes premium.

Well, the real pisser is that the Continental USA has massive untapped oil reserves, and was producing and exporting more oil than importing prior to Inauguration Day 2021. Locally gas was under $2 a gallon at that time. Policies and actions by the federal government since that time have forced the price of gas to nearly triple. We still have the same amount of crude to tap and refine. Just the “big guy” says it’s not allowed.

I saw $5.25 around here on Sunday....Of course I see the stories about inflation daily, but I don't get out much anymore since I am a 100% remote worker but it took me aback to see the sign in person.
