What is the best Tamiya rattle can "red"? Looks like there are about a gazillion choices...
TS-85 - Ferrari Red
TS-8 - Italian Red (I thought Ferrari was Italian?)
TS-36 - Florescent Red
TS-33 - Hull Red
TS-86 - Brilliant Red
TS-49 - Bright Red
TS-39 - Mica Red
TS-95 - Pure Metallic Red
TS-18 - Metallic Red
Geez, Louise...........

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

How about a Bright Mica Metallic Italian Red Ferrari?
I suppose that the best red depends up what you need to use it for.

Yes, that might just work! And, yes it does depend on its use. I am after a generic red, like the Tamiya bottle red. Funny that in the jars, you get red (excluding hull red), but in the spay, all of these.

Well, my favorite rattler is from Mr Hobby. Tamiya cans tend to spit a bit unless you are rigorous about a four minute shake period.

I believe the big variety is due to Tamiya RC product line, because most of these are gloss too.LyleW wrote:Yes, that might just work! And, yes it does depend on its use. Here's another view of TS-8 on Magnum's Ferrari:
Not the best shot, John's is a far better view on that Ducati.....
I hemmed and hawed between it and TS85, and in the end I couldn't see any major difference in online pictures so it came down to the cheapest can in stock off Ebay after shipping.
