Last night, he opened for a band “Contingency Plan”. Apparently there is a FB page for local groups asking if anyone woul let him play before their show. He said the drummer replied back in no time. This band is a bar band and this show, I’m sorry, gig..., was at a local VFW post. Eric did about 25 minutes and killed it it was his first time to do this.

That is very cool Lyle, and good reason to be proud! Is he the dad of your rocker grandson?
Re: Proud of my son
That he is. very proud of Kelsay as well. They had a show Friday night that we could not make. They opened for a band called Liliac. I hear it went very well. Kelsay is a different beast on stage. I'll have to see if there are any videos of him I can share.
This is from Kelsay's and the band he is in (lead singer) Vulture.

Re: Proud of my son
Very cool. I played rhythm guitar poorly in a garage band in my early 20s. I'm much better at running a sound board.

I do believe the sound guy is the most important member of the band!

That's awesome Lyle! I played drums in a rock/metal band in high school but we could never keep a guitarist so it never went anywhere.

Re: Proud of my son
That's great! My brother taught me how to play guitar and I got all my kids into playing one instrument or another as well. It's a great past time. And is that a Taylor he's playing? Very nice.
Thanks,
John

It is, I believe. He plays at the church they go to. They surprised him with this guitar nor evening. Pretty nice.
