Oh my, what a loverly kit!

Post by LyleW »

Floki made me order the Tamiya P-38] kit. It is on him!

I ha e the old Monogram/Revell kit. I’ve dug it out a few times and promptly put it back on the shelf. I’ve been wanting this one sine not long after it came on the scene.

Lots to like, very little to nor like (if anything) to dislike.

It came today.

Wow! Proper nose weights.
A bunch of pieces for me to lose.
Canopy masks.
Nice decals.
Well packaged.
Gorgeous color scheme sheets. Look to be full size.

I do wish the instructions had a sprue map, though.

But, WOW!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Nice score Lyle!

I have the earlier release and it's wonderful - what I've built so far in the cockpit fell together. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Lucky you! How many limbs and other such appendages did it cost you?

I take full responsibility! It's a very beautiful kit.

Tony, I don't think I've ever seen color scheme pages in that size. Pretty cool. That is a pretty good idea, to hang it up later.
