At first I thought, wow, those are some big steps there where the inlets meet the top of the fuselage... but I guess that they are supposed to be there...

Wow! Good catch, Carlos! Always pays to check your references!

No way. It’s solid evidence he needs a refill on the wine after dealing with this kit. :giggles:

Thanks Gents - much appreciated!

Carlos, you are indeed correct that they stand proud of the top of the fuselage. There is actually a very there at the back - although I've no idea what its for!

Cheers!

Oh and the table is just a little side table I keep by my desk, generally it has my notebooks and whatnot on it when I'm working on my PC.

Finally got all of the main building and filling/sanding done on both Tornados - now onto pylons and antennas etc. before paint. The canopy on the GR.1B has been dipped etc, I'm just waiting for the paint to dry around the sill before I paint it.

Looking very good! Well done.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I've been making some progress on the B.

All pylons and antenna are on, it's been primed, had two coats of DSG and, as I was up at 4:00am this morning with a really bad headache, I thought I might as well block in the green. Looking forward to getting a 2nd coat on and tidying it up a bit - I love this scheme.

It really is a rough kit this, but to be fair to Airfix, they really did get the shape right - and it really starts to look good under paint.

Cheers!

Starting to look nice and menacing in that scheme!

Thanks Carlos - the first coat was very thin so it looks a bit crap at the moment - it should improve with the next few.
