In the light of morning, and removing the masking...i am not at all happy with the windscreen. But, there is nothing to do at this point. I had intended to mask it a bit and paint at this point, but Pffftttt, ain't gonna happen. Clear parts and me are having a strained relationship to say the least.

Decals did settle in quite nicely with Solvaset. Paint is okay and all that..But those darn clear parts.

Wow, that looks good. I hear ya on canopy painting AND gluing them on the model. They like to fight but very few do cooperate. Remember how hard glying the 4 or 5 piece canopy from the 1/32 scale P-51B Berlin Express fought me? Never again... :giggles:

I know you struggled with that P-51 canopy, but nailed pretty well. I could not get the tape to stay down on this one. IF I do go back to it, I'll simply sand it out, polish it a bit and paint it black. There is no detail at all on the inside, so nothing would be lost. Thanks for your kind words.
