Revell 1/48 H-34 Choctaw

Post by LyleW »

Guess I had not started a thread on this one. Okay little kit. I have always liked this airframe.

As seems to be the case more than I like, the windscreen was broken by me. I tried several times to fins a replacement and finally asked Ferris for help. What a gracious and helpful man! Thank you!!! You guys I’ll recognize his smashmold tute he did.

Anyway, here is where we are. Likely will do the top one

And a perfect fit.

Ended up making a blade for the tail rotor

Thanks, again Fermis!

So far, so good! I’m with you on liking the basic airframe design. Something of a classic among choppers.

Looking good. Have the Gallery kit in the works myself.

A classic helo no doubt. Do what I do Lyle. Store the canopy and any loose small parts in those empty medication bottles from the drug store. Keep it in the kit box until you're ready to use it. They are a God send.

I've built one way back and have the Brit version Wessex in the stash - I'll be following along. Windscreen looks great
Thanks,
John
