Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.

Re: MPM Wellington Mk.IC
Looking good, Martin! The Wellington is on my wish list as well.

You're right Martin....... I should've known.Bish wrote:

But that makes it even better in terms of detail and overall build.
Re: MPM Wellington Mk.IC
I had not heard of it until i read the kit instructions. I would guess being a Wimpy, he could at least grab hold of the framwork through the fabric covering.Modelcrazy wrote:Love it Bish.

There was also a Sgt. Norman Jackson that did this On a Lancaster.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
Re: MPM Wellington Mk.IC
Thanks for the links Lyle.
I got the Wimpy wrapped up today. I just had the last bits to add and attach it to the base with the figures and equipment. The figures are a CMK set designed to be used with a Wellington. The tower, truck and lader are all from the Airfix bomber re-supply set.
This was a nice build, especially for an MPM kit. I've had worse. The CMK engines were a bit tricky, mainly getting the exhaust ring on, bt it got there in the end.
I'm also glad to get an aircraft from Feltwell on my completed list. When i worked at RAF Lakenheath, we also worked on the base at Feltwell. Much of the old base is still there including the wartime hangers this aircraft would have used.
