Tamiya clear coat over the Revell paint crazed on the top of the wings and the horizontal stablizers... not sure what happened there but I'm done with Tamiya clear. I think it's too hot.
So out comes the EasyOff and taking a step back :/
Thanks,
John

Don't let the little mishap with the clear coat stop you. That is an awesome looking plane. I love the animal parade on the fuselage.

Got the wings stripped and partially repainted. Meanwhile more decaling on the fuselage

Amazing decal work. I am assuming you did not paint those critters. Given the size of that aircraft, that had to be a fun paint job.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Thanks all. Ya, lot's of decals. Could rival the Hasegawa Phantom stencil decal count. But they are really nice and well behaved. I can see the finish line on this one
Thanks,
John

This is looking amazing!
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall
