There are plenty of possible BMF WWII subjects if you would want that: B-17, B-24, P-47 and Mustang come to mind. I am okay with BMF although I haven’t got a “favourite recipe”. I will try Lifecolor on this one. I have both succes and failure with that so it is a bit of a gamble.

I had a minor setback with the yellow prop. I used Alan paint (which I have used before) thinned with Gunze. I have had super results with that combination. But this time the paint turned into some kind of jelly.

I cleaned up,let everything rest and came back to it today. This time I used Revell enamel. And it worked. I also did a few touch ups with the back base because of the overspray I had with the light grey for the gear.

Looks great! Yellow is a hard color to do.

Time for another update. I sprayed the metal, Lifecolor thinned with Future. That mixture is a bit thick so I used my old Badger 350.
Wheels where done with a brush and Revell Aqua Color.
The decals where quite nice, one ripped but overall they where good. And only twelve of them so not a lot of work.

I hate it when decals tear and rip. :headbang:
