Oohhh weee, that is nice!

It's looking good!
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Great work!

Very cool - you've got to love an A-10!

Nice simple mod on that canopy - I much prefer 'em closed as well.

Primed and painted! Underside and some spots on topside Light Ghost Grey. Dark Ghost Grey on top . You really can't see the subtle differences but it's there. Instead of masking , I decided to run with airbrushing Dark Ghost Grey free hand. Works for me.

Cluster bombs using Gunze Olive Drab. I hate decaling front of the bombs. I never could get them to line up perfectly. I shoulda used yellow paint pen but oh well.... :bored:

AGM-65 Maverick missiles. I did my research on correct colors. I knew they were typically white but some are Olive Drab or a Light Grey in color. But.... I found something I liked. Light Grey and Olive Drab - I used Model Master enamel Olive Drab to give it a different tone instead. (Model Master acrylic Olive Drab is much lighter than the enamel version).

Decals only provided me with only 4 sets per Maverick missiles, not 6 which I found it odd. The two without decal markings will be installed on the inner sides of the pylon rack since no one is gonna notice it.

Next, is a gloss coat on the bird itself in preparation for decaling.

Wow great progress! Looking sharp. I want to do mine in the grey camo but I have so many really nice markings for the euro scheme and I just bought all the paint
Thanks,
John

The white Mavericks probably all were used up after Desert Storm. Those were the earliest TV and laser guided types. The Imaging Infra Red were originally OD, and all the stuff in use since 9/11 have mostly been Light Ghost Gray.
