Hawker Tempest Mk. II, Matchbox, 1/72

Post by Bolleken »

Here is my latest finish, a Hawker Tempest Mk. II in 1/72 scale by Matchbox in Indian Markings. All decals are self-designed, some self-printed as well. Stencils by Model Alliance.

Very nice build Marius!

And so great to see builds from the original old-style Matchbox kits !

Bravo Marius! That is one fine looking silvery beauty of a Tempest!

It is a beauty.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Very cool Marius - always loved the Tempest and it's great to see a mk.II for a change. You've done a great job on this, your finish is superb!

This is one of the few MB kits that's slipped me by, I really need to build it at some-point but it's blooming expensive these days.

Nicely done and in an interesting livery. I would have swore that was a Sea Fury - I assume the borrowed a log from this mark in it's development.
Thanks,
