Thank you John. This model would dwarf a 747 if they ever made one in 1/72 scale. I personally would love a 1/72 scale 747. This is even bigger than a C-5A Galaxy; a 1/72 scale Galaxy would be about seven inches shorter. I believe a 1/72 scale 747 would be even smaller than a 1/72 scale Galaxy by another three inches or so.

Awesome build Duke! That came out fantastic, the An-24 is one of my all time favorites since I saw a real one years ago. I have a 1/72 AN-22 to build one day, and that is HUGE as well. Great job!

Thanks Johnny. If it is resin, I'll pass. It is tough enough building a resin plane, but the weight of something like that would be a tremendous disadvantage in my tiny hobby room.
