The trainer is finished, I hope to finish the Kamikaze version as well this weekend.
Mostly out of the box, I added balance weights and aiming device with copper wire.
It is a nice kit, fit is reasonably good for a short run.
I added a picture on a creditcard size gift card. As you can see it is only slightly larger then a credit card.

Excellent finish. So tiny

Those look great!

I didn't realize just how small these are. Excellent job on both of them

Thanks guys!
I finished the Kamikaze to. I made a small vignette. The supports come from the kit, which is a nice touch. I made the base from an cheese package, glued very fine sand on it. Poles are Evergreen rod, wire is copper wire and the cardboard signs are just that: cardboard signs.
A simple wire fence and “keep out” may look a bit silly but it is historically correct.

Very nice little diorama, I always like to mimic a historic photo when building a diorama.

Yes, I find period photographs a very good source of inspiration. All I really need now is a GI to stand guard. But all the figures I had in my stash where “in action”.

Very nice work all around! The extra touches add so much.

Excellent build! I may recall watching a series on Netflix (Road to Victory) at the end of the Battle for Okinawa, they found one of them in a village. Interestingly, they dismantled it and found a 400lb. bomb in the nose.
