Calling it done. Very much like my 12 year old self build :giggles: lot's of issues. But here she is:

Looks good to me! Quite eye catching with the open engine compartment and that paint scheme! Bravo!

Looks nice, John. Good job on the yellow. You have to be tolerant when the plastic is the same age you are.

Ha! No doubt John. Thanks for the kind words all - nice to get her off the bench. If anyone wants to do an H-19 I have a lot of decals left from the caracal decal sheet CD48131. PM me and I'll send them to you.

Assuming the scale is close - these are all 1/48 - the H-19 was a big bird!

Having seen one up close recently, yes, H-19 was pretty big. Bigger than a Huey and closer in length and width to a Blackhawk. But much taller than either type.
