OPP's, i think i missed an update somewhere. These are the pics from the one i missed. I painted with my own mix useing Tamiya and then added the decals.

I got the Snatch wrapped up mid week and got the pics done today. It was finished off with some light oil filters and green streaking from AK. Eith that i gave it a matt coat and fitted all the final parts. I used the supplied wire for the windscreen grill and made a handle thats in the cab. The antenna's are carbon rod from Accurate Armour from where i also got the stop sign. This is PE painted aluminium and with a decal on one side. The figure came out ok. Its not Alpine Miniatures standard, but given the options it does the job. I don't normally add figures to my British armour builds mainly because of the lack of them, but i made an exception on this.

So here are the final pics.

I really enjoyed this. Makes a change not to do something with tracks, and even in the UK we don't see subjects from the Troubles. I already have AA's resin Humber Pig lined up in my shopping basket. Not the easiest kits, but worth the effort.

The came out looking great Bish! I like the VCP sign and figure for added context.

That is a real beauty!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Beautiful looking build Bish, I'm still kinda confused on what the troubles are?
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Thanks guys.

Floki. The Troubles were the period in N Ireland between 1969 and 2007 when Republican groups, mainly the IRA, were wageing a terrorist campaign of murder and imtimidation to try and driver the British out of the north of Ireland.

Its a lot more complex than that, but thats the basics.

I remember reading in the newspaper and watching news broadcast back in the 70s and 80s of the conflict there. Mostly the bombings always hit the news.

Never seen a model or vignette based on that conflict before. A completely neglected topic so far. Outstanding work, I'm impressed. :shoutout:
