Just caught up with this one Joe - that is a truly awesome build, I love the detail you've put into the interior!

Thanks Stuart!! Good having you in here!

Alot of progress yesterday. Getting close now. Really can't see the weathering in this pic but its there. Maybe it'll all show up in the glamour shots when I get to the end of the build. :hmm:

Looks the part! Great work.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

At least you won’t have to worry about giving it the wet look. Looking great, Joe!

Thanks you guys!!

Tom: I was going to give it a clear of Wet Look for the decals but decided to just wet sand the areas for the cals with 4000 through 12000 grit. It got those areas smooth enough for decals. After the decals I came back over everything with a wash light coat of dark wash and put an ever-so-thin barely even there flat coat down. Worked perfectly.

Amazing work! Brings back the memories of the one I did in 1/72 scale!

That looks awesome Joe!

It does make me laugh that a car so strongly associated with hippies and the peace movement started life as a Nazi Staff car :hmm:

Well it was something of a Model T in concept. A simple inexpensive car for the masses.
