AFV Club 1/35th M109A2 Op Granby

Post by Bish »

This is one of 2 AFV Club 35th armour kit i have started and tehse are the first of their kits i have built that are not 251's.

I'm adding Fruil tracks, Voyager PE and Star decals. I am doing the vehicle on the right, from the 4th Arm Brig.

Spent a couple of hours on it last night and got the running gear added.

And then started on the upper hull.

Going well so far, nice fit with just the usual AFV pour stubs on the inside that have to be removed. A bit more plastic then i will start adding PE.

neat. Not a huge armor build guy for some reason, but I do enjoy watching you guys.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Very cool! I remember seeing these as a kid at various bases that we got stationed at.

Thanks Mike. I never got to see these, they had been replaced by AS90 by the time i moved into the armoured role.

This is awesome! I'll be following this one since I'm also building an -A2 for my US Army in 1/72 scale.
