That's what I like most about AMT kits. They hit on a lot of different subjects that no one else does. The flash.....I can work with and tolerate somewhat because AMT does put out some fairly detailed stuff auto wise. I use to dis on them a lot but after building a couple they turned out very well.

New update: Bare metal foil applied on the trim work in the course of 2 nights, 2 hours each night.

The door handles will be done using Molotov pen. Unless I chicken out at the last minute and use bare metal foil.

That looks perfect! Speechless, again.

Nice to see this one going again Tom!

Tom, it would be really great if you could give us a tutorial on how to pull that amazing work off with BMF. I'm in awe every time I'm drooling over your photos.

I chickened out using Molotov pen on the door handles except for the key holes. Pics to follow...

Its actually quite easy to do door handles. My 69 Superbee and 69 Eliminator were both done that way. In fact all the chrome on the Bee is Molotow.

Man that thing looks like tha "bee's knees" right there Tom!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!

I've been known to use BMF on the top of the handles because it gives a sharp demarcation line and then use the Molotow pen on the bottoms and buttons of the handle. It actually works out pretty good.

A little dilemma... the "Belair" script on the sides are faint. I don't want to use Molotov marker nor Bare metal Foil. Would silver pencil work? The badge next to the Belair script will be painted gold last after everything is done.
