Thanks for the vote of confidence Stuart. After looking at this for a bit I just knew there were a few items missing so I went to work. I've added the lower and upper radiator hoses and then went to work on the throttle return spring and bracket. I got all that installed this morning and have aluminum oil breathers/ caps for the rocker covers coming in the mail. For the time being here we are with the coolant hoses and throttle return spring installed.Stuart wrote:That's jaw droppingly awesome Joe!

It's about time you put some gas into it and fired it up!

The return spring is a great detail... is it wound wire or a spring? Kinda makes you want to hook the linkage up all the way to the gas pedal and make it work - press the pedal and the linkages work. Get started
Thanks,

I double dog, no...triple dog dare ya! Wow that looks quite real.

This must be a stupid question Joe, but why did you put a pic of the real engine instead of the one you have been building ?
Because, that above ain'tmade of plastic but is the real thing, iron and steele , right Joe ? :-)
This is just marvellous, total master piece!

Um.....it is.I mean I've got the linkage going from the rear of the engine where the linkage is ran down to the floorboard where the accelerator pedal is.LyleW wrote:I double dog, no...triple dog dare ya! Thanks for the comments fellas. The wire is a 3157 light bulb filament.
