John, help an old, non-car guy out...what is the flaw? By the way, really good work on this.

Maybe put the clear on too soon. Don't know. You don't judge a man by what he does; rather, how he recovers from his mistakes.

Try Tamiya primer, Tamiya Blue and then Testors Wet Look Clear dispensed from the can and shot through the airbrush. I guarantee it'll look like glass. If you're interested I can give you a mini tutorial on the process that I use.

Sorry to see the paint blues John (no pun intended) . Look on the bright side.....at least you didn't have the decals on yet. Looking forward to your recovery.
