You’re off to a great start!

Thank you, Carlos. Once the interior is done, it's on pause until Hobby Lobby reopens so I can get the Hugger Orange I need for this beast.

looking quite racy!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Here's a good question for Joe or anyone who would advise me.

I want to replicate the rims like these but I'm having a hard time trying to eyeball the muted silver. What shade of grey would you go for?Thoughts?

Off the top of my head I’d say look at the Model Master Metalizer paints. I know that they were just discontinued, but old stock should still be available. Perhaps the non buffable aluminum for the lighter color and magnesium or anodonic gray for the darker shade.

Thanks, Carlos. I knew it had to be a muted metal color. At first I thought it looked light grey but thought... naaaaah... it can’t be.

A Goat! Nice. Take a look at MM dark anodic gray. Its airbrush thin but brushes surprisingly well.
Thanks,
John
