That looks really good Tom! While I'm really leery of using Future for broad area coverage (for polishing reasons) it does bring out a nice shine with minimal work involved. The only caution I would throw out there is its tendency to fill in the door, trunk or hood seams when applying due to having to use thicker coats to get a high shine.

No plans for polishing for this one has been a thorn in my side. Just want to get it done and over with.

Yeah and it tends to sag around wheel arches, etc..

Fianlly an update after a sucky Thanksgiving weekend. Other than the "Drive Thru Thanksgiving" - ;ong story and don't want to get into it. Ridiculous idea from one of my in-laws. :headbang: :headbang: Don't get me wrong, food was good. The rest of the weekend sucked....

Friday, my sister down in Maryland went to urgent care because she was complaining of shortness of breaths and a nasty cough. She got a Covid test and gave her a prescription for cough. Saturday , I called he to check on her and she told me she was tired. Saturday night, I get a phone call from one of her closest friends telling me my sister is going to the hospital by ambulance. They found her tired and she passed out, They also said her blood pressure was high. By then, I was afraid that was going to happen since she is obese. Now I was a wreck worrying about her.

Later on my sister texted me after they stabilzed her. She told me she's safe at the hospital and is on blood thinners. They gave her another covid test. They also wanted to do a CT scan on her heart and look for clots. They did find clots in her lungs. Probably from coughing so hard but doc thinks it has a lot to do with her (as a teacher, she teleworks at home and school) by being inactive sitting down too much.

Sunday morning, I was notified by her she is tested negative for Covid-19!! They also wanted to keep her for another day to get her oxygen levels to improve before discharging her. They also wanted to do echocardiogram and EKG test before releasing her. Monday she is released from the hospital Her doc wants her to see a blood specialist to find out why she's getting these clots, She also needs to see her primary doctor and a nutrition specialist and maybe a cardiologist.

Last night she told me all her appointments are squared away this week. She will not be returning to work until after the New Years. Good! She needs to take care of herself first.

After hearing the good news, I was able to resume to the bench and get something done. Last night, I got the interior tub done!! I went with the two-tone teal and white scheme. Here are the pics:

I will admit, I didn't bother to use the dashboard dial decals. Why bother? I'm not gonna see them once it's finished. Besides, the speedometer face sits kinda deep to see it anyways.

I drilled out the holes on the steering wheel because it's suppose to have holes.

I also installed the radiator to the frame as well as per instruction guide. Next, bare metal foil on the trimwork.

Glad to hear your sister is improving. Scary story.
I dig the interior color. Is that turquoise?
Thanks,
John

The color is Teal turquoise.

Another update. I finally painted the grill on this baby. Looking closely at the grill part, I noticed the location of the turn signal lenses on the '61 Impala. So, I had to wait til tonight to paint them since my old Turn Signal Amber color bottle dried out on me.

That's a good looking interior Tom. Good color pattern and nicely applied at that.

Sorry to hear your luck over the holidays but glad everything seemed to smooth out alright.
