Started this one under the tutalleg, tootulegde, tutesa, with the help of Mustang giving advice along the way. Brush painted the engine block and then stripped it and sprayed it. This Model Master Acrylic is tough stuff. I like the sprayed block better, but I really can't say why.

Finally bit the bullet and bought some of the Molotow in the large economy size so i could spray it.
Now, it will have plenty of time to cure. I ordered the no-shine Spaz Stix (Duh) and have since ordered the ultra clear coat for chrome. Probably a week out on getting that.
The car will be dunked in the Chevrolet Marina Blue. Ordered that from MCW this morning.

Looks like Lyle is switching from flying things to rolling things...

some work on the engine.
I need to go digging out in the garage....I have a bunch of left over war (or wire) from finishing the basement, but it is 16 GA. May be a fat hose coming soon. Who knows.

Watching this one. I had debated on picking this one up. The engine looks good, Lyle.
